Chief Executive Officer
Michael Clark becomes Chief Executive Officer for Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center on June 1, 2016.
Michael Clark has over 30 years of hospital leadership experience. Michael comes to Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center after14 years at LifePoint with his most recent position as President of their American Division based in Brentwood, TN. He brings extensive experience with hospital leadership and operations.
Michael is also a recipient of LifePoint Health’s prestigious Fleetwood Award for outstanding contributions by a hospital administrator, a recognition he was awarded in 2003. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Troy State University in Alabama and his master’s degree in health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also is a Fellow of the Advisory Board Company.
He enjoys golf and hunting. He and his wife Stacye have been married 25 years, and have two children. They have a grandson and a granddaughter.
Chief Financial Officer
David McKnight has over 10 years of experience in Finance and Healthcare Finance. As Controller of the HCA’s Capital Division, located in Richmond, VA. Prior to coming to Spotsylvania Regional he worked closely with each of the 17 hospitals CFOs and Controllers, as well as supply chain and revenue cycle leadership, regarding hospital financials and operations. Prior to serving as the Controller of HCA’s Capital Division, David was the AVP of Finance and Controller of LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, VA. Before his LewisGale position, he was the Finance Director for Carilion Clinic for the Department of Medicine Physicians. David has a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Radford University. He and his wife Sabrina have three sons and in his spare time David enjoys spending time with his family and is very active in his church.
Chief Operations Officer
Roberta Tinch has been in her current role since July 2014. Prior to her position here in Virginia, she held the position of Associate Chief Operating Officer at Brandon Regional Hospital in Florida and with The Medical Center of Aurora in Aurora, Colorado , a Level II Trauma Center. Roberta has been focused on facility operations and finances, patient and employee satisfaction, multi-million dollar construction projects, and strategic development. A native of Richmond, Virginia, Roberta received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Virginia in 2006 and a Master of Health Administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2009. Roberta is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and sits on the Board of Directors for the Northern Virginia Hospital Alliance and the Rappahannock area YMCA.
Chief Nursing Officer
Trula E. Minton, MS, RN, NEA-BC
Trula Minton joins Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center with strong nursing expertise and quality compassionate care. Most recently Trula served as the Chief Nursing Officer at HCA Virginia’s Chippenham Hospital, 2009-1016. She also brings a wealth of administrative and leadership experience since her career start with HCA (Hospital Corporation of America) in 1984. Trula graduated from the Petersburg General Hospital School of Professional Nursing and continued her education in nursing at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia, earning her Baccalaureate and Masters Degrees in Nursing/Nursing Administration. Trula is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and the American/Virginia Nurses’ Association. She has been involved in several community boards including Crisis Link Suicide Prevention, Northern Virginia Workforce Development Board, Tri-City CASA, and Greater Richmond Children’s Health Involving Parents. Trula continues to serve on the Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia Alumni Board of Trustees and is a representative for the Nursing Division.
Vice President of Human Resources
Rosemary Loring joins Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center as Vice President of Human Resources. A native Philadelphian, Rosemary’s career began in telecommunications, progressing to leadership positions in strategic planning and human resources at Verizon. She continued her business career with a strong human resources background, leading the sales and operations for 35 bank branches in the Philadelphia market. Also an entrepreneur, Rosemary most recently had huge success building a temporary staffing business. Rosemary’s extensive career brought her back to Northern Virginia and the Hampton Roads area for five years, and she’s delighted to be back and join the Spotsylvania Regional Medical Team. Rosemary is a graduate of Immaculata University and earned a law degree from The George Washington University. She and her husband Dave are empty nester and are looking forward to becoming part of the Fredericksburg Community.
Vice President of Quality
Dianne Ristom, RN, MSN, LHRM, CCRN comes to Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center from the West Florida area, most recently at Northside Hospital and Tampa Bay Heart Institute. At Tampa Bay Heart Institute she was the Director of Neuro Service Line and Nursing Operations. In this role Dianne was responsible for oversight of the Neuro ICU, Neuro PCU, Neuro ARNP Program, Nursing Administration/Supervisors, Staffing Coordinators, RN Float Pool, Critical Care Float Pool, Patient Observer Pool, the Student Nurse/Nurse Tech Program, Virtual Sitter Program, Centralized Telemetry Monitor Tech Service, Surgical/ICU Waiting Room Concierges, the Dialysis Program, Patient Throughput and also acted as the Service Line Administrator on an interim bases for the Cardiac Service Lines including CVICU, ICCU, and Cardiac PCU. Dianne developed many innovative programs during her time at Northside including a critical care float pool, Student Nurse/Nurse Tech Program and Kinected Care Virtual Sitter Program. Dianne was instrumental in opening and maintaining a 15-bed, on-demand ICU/PCU overcapacity and cardiac post procedure area as well as overseeing the quality program for all of the above service lines. Dianne is a licensed healthcare risk manager and holds certifications as a Legal Nurse Consultant and Critical Care RN.
